With the Cl19 Warzone coming up soon, now’s the time to get your game face on and start thinking about which character you want to play. Summary: Where is the Cl19 Warzone?
We’re not telling in order to tease you – there are spoilers ahead! The warzone will be located in the virtual universe on one of the planets from our upcoming game, H3VR. It’s a planet called D’lira and is set in a dystopian future – with a twist. There are two versions of D’lira, one that we’re all familiar with and one that has been subject to a time travel experiment. This means that the planet is a melting pot of the past, the present and the future – which will allow us to play with time, space and reality in some truly creative ways. H3VR is going to be released later this year, and is being developed by the same team that created the original H3 – so when you play the warzone within H3VR you’ll be playing on the same planet that will feature in the full game.
How to find the warzone
The warzone is open to all challengers – so you don’t need to be a Clan Member to participate in the action. All you need to do is visit the website and click on the blue button marked Warzone. From there, you can select which warzone you would like to play in, depending on the side you would like to support. When you’re in the game, you can teleport to the warzone by clicking on the teleport icon in the top right of your screen. If you’re unsure of how to find anything within the game, remember you can use the in-game help guide (click on the ? icon in the top right of your screen) to find out more. You can also join the Cl19 Discord channel to ask any questions you may have.
Which side will you be on?
As we’ve mentioned, there are two sides to the warzone. You can choose to join the Clans or the ClERB. The ClERB is a mash-up of characters from the Clans, who have been transported to the other side of the time travel experiment. The ClERB are desperately trying to find a way back to their own universe, while the Clans are trying to stop them – leading to all kinds of messy, chaotic battles. Both sides need your help to win the warzone, so it doesn’t matter which side you choose. Your focus should be on having fun and enjoying the action, rather than getting caught up in team rivalry. That said, there will be rewards for both sides, as well as individual players who impress the judges.
The Warzone game types
The warzone will feature two main game types: deathmatch and capture the flag. As the name suggests, deathmatch is all about killing your opponents, with the goal being to score the most kills. With deathmatch, one side starts off in control of the flag and the other side has to either kill all members of the controlling team or steal their flag to win. If your team has the flag and the other team kills all your members, they will take the flag and win the round. If a flag carrier is killed and the flag is dropped, it has to be picked up again.
The stakes and rewards for winning – or losing
The Clan and ClERB will earn points for every second they control the warzone. This can be tracked on the map in the top right of your screen. The first side to reach 100 points will win the warzone. This means the warzone will be shorter than previous challenges – clocking in at around 3 hours, with the action kicking off on the 8th of September and concluding on the 9th. The rewards are going to be really special this time around, so you’ll have plenty of incentive to give it your all. You’ll have to wait and see what they are though, but we can tell you that the top reward will be something no H3 fan can miss.
